Dear Health-Oriented Businesses,

Raw Network of Washington's 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction will be taking place on Saturday, February 16, 2008 and has begun to generate quite the buzz among the various health communities in Washington State.

We attribute the buzz about our event to several factors.  First, world-renowned raw foods author and lecturer David "Avocado" Wolfe (author of Sunfood Diet Success System, Naked Chocolate, and Eating for Beauty) has agreed to be our keynote speaker for the event.   David is considered by peers to be one of the world’s leading authorities on nutrition.  David works, in conjunction with Sunfood Nutrition™, to develop, market and distribute some of the world's most wonderful and exotic organic food items. David and Sunfood Nutrition were the first to bring raw and organic: cacao beans/nibs (raw chocolate), goji berries, Incan berries, cacao butter, cacao powder, powdered encapsulated mangosteen, maca extract and cold-pressed coconut oil into general distribution in North America. Known for extraordinary quality control and ethical production, these products and many others developed by David and Sunfood Nutrition lead the field.

Another factor is that our 2008 black-tie event will be held for the second consecutive year at the Columbia Tower Club, one of the world's most renowned private dining clubs.  With stunning views of Seattle, Puget Sound, and the surrounding snow-capped mountains, this event will be an awe-inspiring event to remember.  And third, the evening will feature a silent auction (which was wildly successful at last year's event), and a gourmet 4-course raw foods dinner prepared by the chefs of the Columbia Tower Club.

There are extremely exciting opportunities for your company to gain exposure in front of current and prospective customers, as we will be creating high visibility for this event and those that sponsor it within many health-conscious communities in the Puget Sound area.  The three key opportunities I want to let you know about are as follows:

1. Auction Item Donations.  At our 1st annual event last year, we were able to generate over $15,000 in cash, largely due to generous contributions that local and national raw-friendly companies just like yours gave in the form of in-kind donations to our silent auction.  Auction item donors last year included companies such as Hippocrates Health Institute, Sunfood Nutrition, Lara Bar, E3Live, Blessing's Alive and Radiant Roods, VegNews Magazine, HealthForce Nutritionals, Maya Whole Health Studio, Chaco Canyon Cafe, and many more companies.  When you contribute an item or service to the auction, this event will bring you outstanding exposure at an extremely low cost, while demonstrating your commitment to the health-conscious community and to the very important work that we do.  To find out more about donating to the auction, click here.

2. Event Sponsorship.  While this event is going to be amazing and it is going to sell out, there is a high cost associated with putting the event on.  We are seeking fiscal sponsors who would like to gain additional exposure for their organization among health-conscious individuals.  While guest attendance is limited to 180 people, we estimate that tens of thousands of health-conscious individuals will see our event advertising, and many of them will choose to visit our website.  Our promotional package for sponsors is an excellent opportunity for you to gain exposure in front of current and prospective customers, as we will be creating high visibility for this event and those that sponsor it within many health-conscious communities in the Puget Sound area.  To learn more about event sponsorship, click here.

3. Event Tabling.  If your organization would like to enhance your physical presence among the raw foods and health communities in Seattle and are interested in tabling at a David Wolfe event, keep reading.  As a continuation of our fundraiser, Raw Network of Washington is producing a second event the following day with David Wolfe at Bastyr University, one of the world's leading academic centers for advancing knowledge in the natural health sciences.  Event attendance at this event will be up to 250 people, all whom are dedicated to healthy living and will be paying approximately $35 to see David Wolfe speak.  To learn more about tabling, click here.
