King Corn
1515 12th Avenue, Seattle
Sponsored by KBCS 91.3FM and KCTS9 TV
(Aaron Woolf, USA, 2006, DVD)
Two friends from the big city plant a single acre of the
nation's most powerful crop, corn, and then follow it from
seed to the dinner plate. John Hartl of the Seattle Times
calls KING CORN, "simultaneously nostalgic and sinister."
Part horror film and part documentary, KING CORN exposes the
truth behind what you're eating. Have you been wondering why
Americans are so overweight? Or why certain foods are so
cheap? Have you heard our average life expectancy is headed
down, not up? Find out why! To RSVP call 800-930-6060 and

January 1: New Year's Day "Catch and Release" Party!
736 N. 90th St, Seattle (The Raw Girl's House)
3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Out of the
previous evening's Completion conversation, what might
naturally arise is a desire to be rid of things that no
longer serve you or are now complete with and want to
release. This may include anything from clothes to
knick-knacks, appliances, books, or movies... even things
that have been sentimental to you in the past but you no
longer find a need for. Whatever these "things" are -
you are welcome to bring them to our house to share with the
community - out with the old - in with the new!
Please note that this is not a "junk dumping" session -
bring things that you think may be useful to other people in
your community. Any items left over will be donated to
charity. We are also requesting a few volunteers to
help take carloads of stuff away at the end of the giveaway.
Also, please feel free to bring raw snacks to share!

You are invited to a Waiora and Uri info night. Dr. Regan Conlith and Gaius Kazen will be talking about two products.
Regan will be talking about Waiora, a product that helps the body detoxify. Waiora's main product, Natural Cellular Defense (NCD), has been extensively studied and is backed by hundreds of testimonials. Some people who have taken NCD report dramatic recoveries from life-threatening diseases, such as cancer. NCD is also taken by individuals who want to remove toxins and heavy metals from their body, thereby allowing the body to heal itself.
Gaius will be talking about Uri, a company that produces organic live raw food supplements. Uri's main product, The Feast, contains 30 different antioxidant fruits and berries, including noni, mangosteen, wolfberry, goji and acai. It also contains 30 different types of greens and vegetables, along with nuts, sprouts, seeds, enzymes and 22 different types of living probiotics. The product is free of pesticides, GMOs, irradiation and animal products. All ingredients are organic and have been dried at low temperatures.
These are two exciting products and give our bodies the tools it needs to fight disease and aging.
